ITU G3

The ITU G3 is our third-generation solar powered data logger and the core of Harvest's fully-equipped remote monitoring and control solutions. It replaces the ITU G2, with more processing power, onboard storage, and protected outputs built for real-world conditions.

Inputs

  • Eight analog inputs with software-selectable ranges: 2V, 10V, 40V, or 4-20mA
  • Eight digital inputs with counting capability and programmable edge filtering
  • Two SDI-12 ports, which can sample at different rates
  • Dedicated port for mechanical wind speed and direction sensors
  • Two digital Dallas 1-wire bus inputs for Harvest temperature and combined temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure (THP) sensors

Outputs

  • Two programmable low-voltage relay outputs
  • Four software-configurable DC excitation outputs: two variable 0-20V, one 12V, one boosted 18V
  • 12V DC power output direct from battery, with a self-resetting fuse
  • Overload protection on excitation, SDI-12 and auxiliary power outputs

Communications

  • Built-in 4G cellular or Iridium satellite modem
  • Built-in UHF transreceiver for Harvest wireless remotes
  • Aux 1: RS-232 or RS-485, with 12V or 5V DC power for cameras and serial devices
  • Aux 2: logic-level serial, with 5V DC power

  • Dual processor with 256 log fields
  • On-board flash memory for logging and code updates
